Aiden policy

AI & Your Data

Effective Date: October 20, 2026

Aiden, Aid in Autistic Adult Living, is operated by West Wind Storm LLC.

Some present or future Aiden features may use artificial intelligence to help users communicate, organize information, understand options, generate text, summarize information, or complete other requested tasks.

This page explains what users should know before using an AI-powered Aiden feature.

What Talk with Me Sends Today

Talk with Me uses OpenAI, currently the gpt-6-luna model. Pressing Send submits your message and up to 20 recent messages from the conversation, including earlier Aiden replies, plus instructions for the kind of help you selected.

Saved Health Log, Body Map, My Care Team, My People, medications, and other account records are not automatically included. Details you type or paste into the conversation are included in the submitted conversation.

Aiden requests store:false for generated Responses API output. That setting is not a zero-retention guarantee. OpenAI may retain API content in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days by default, or longer where legally required. Aiden does not promise special zero-retention or residency settings.

The conversation displayed in Aiden can also be saved with your Aiden account. Deleting it in Aiden does not immediately erase copies already processed by an outside provider.

The current signed-in allowance is 40 AI requests per account per UTC day. An attempted request may count even if the provider fails. Guests cannot use Talk with Me. You can use unrelated non-AI tools without sending an AI message.

The notices can be canceled before submission and reset under Settings → Your Data. Resetting a notice affects future submissions and cannot reverse past processing.

AI Is a Tool

Artificial intelligence can help process information and generate responses.

It can also make mistakes.

AI-generated information may be:

Incomplete.

Incorrect.

Outdated.

Misleading.

Inappropriate for a particular situation.

Aiden should use AI as an assistive tool, not as a substitute for the user's judgment or qualified professional advice.

When Information May Be Sent for AI Processing

When you intentionally use an Aiden feature that requires artificial intelligence, information you submit to that feature may need to be sent to an outside AI service provider so the requested response can be generated.

Aiden should not send unrelated information from your account to an AI provider merely because you opened Aiden or logged into your account.

Information sent for AI processing should be limited to what is reasonably necessary for the feature you chose to use.

Sensitive Information

Information submitted to an AI feature may sometimes include sensitive information if you choose to provide it.

This may include information relating to:

Health.

Mental health.

Medications.

Symptoms.

Sensory experiences.

Daily living.

Employment.

Disability-related needs.

Personal relationships.

Finances.

Other private matters.

Only enter information you are comfortable submitting for AI processing.

Aiden should provide an appropriate notice before sensitive information is sent to an outside AI service.

AI and Health Information

AI-generated responses are not medical diagnoses.

AI does not determine whether a symptom is dangerous.

AI does not prescribe medication.

AI does not determine whether medication should be started, stopped, or changed.

Do not rely solely on AI-generated information for medical or mental health decisions.

Consult an appropriate qualified professional when professional guidance is needed.

AI and Emergencies

AI should not be relied upon as an emergency service.

If you believe you or another person is in immediate danger or experiencing a medical emergency, use the appropriate emergency or crisis service.

AI and Legal, Financial, or Employment Decisions

AI-generated information may help organize questions or explain general concepts.

It should not be relied upon as the sole basis for important legal, financial, benefits, employment, or eligibility decisions.

Important information should be verified with the appropriate qualified professional, agency, employer, provider, or official source.

AI Service Providers

West Wind Storm LLC may use third-party AI service providers to provide AI-powered functionality.

Those providers may process information submitted to an AI-powered feature as necessary to provide the requested response.

West Wind Storm LLC seeks to limit the information submitted to what is reasonably necessary for the feature being used.

The technical providers used by Aiden may change as the service develops.

The Aiden Privacy Policy should be updated when a material change in data practices requires an update.

User Choice

Users are not required to use optional AI-powered features merely because they use Aiden.

Where a feature requires AI processing, Aiden should make that reasonably clear before the information is submitted.

If a user chooses not to use an optional AI-powered feature, that choice should not prevent use of unrelated non-AI Aiden features.

AI-Generated Content

Whenever reasonably practical, Aiden should distinguish AI-generated assistance from information originally entered by the user.

Users should review AI-generated content before relying on it, sharing it, or using it in an important situation.

No Secret Decisions

Aiden's design goal is for AI to assist users rather than silently make important decisions about them.

Aiden should not use AI to secretly determine whether a user deserves medical care, employment, benefits, accommodations, support, or other significant opportunities.

Privacy

Use of AI features is also subject to the Aiden Privacy Policy and Health Data & Privacy information where applicable.
